Apple invests $1.9B in data centres in Denmark, Ireland

Apple says it's investing 1.7 billion euros ($1.92 billion) in data centres in Denmark and Ireland that will be powered by renewable energy, its largest such project in Europe to date.

It is great to see data centers moving to renewable energy sources! Green hosting is the way forward!

That's a good news. Apple has finally realized the importance of the environment, not just the technology. I remembered Greenpeace has criticized Apple for not making use of clean renewable energy. At least, Apple has made a move on to much greener pastures literally. I think Google has also done the same thing.

Although Apple have taken this step to make things greener, I will still not associate with the brand. I think other companies will be doing this more and more in the future however!

I do belive that Google has done the same. I did a little research and found this from their website.
