Makayla Sault, the 11-year-old Ontario girl who refused chemotherapy treatments in favour of indigenous medicine, died Monday.

She didn't refuse Chemo, she stopped chemo after they found that it was damaging her heart. This is a very misleading title. At first I thought she was another whack job who thinks herbal remedies will cure everything, instead I find that she had been on chemo she couldn't continue it because it would have killed her in another way. This isn't the case of poor parenting making the wrong decision, it was just a damned if you do damned if you dont situation.
