Vernon man left homeless after apartment fire

The fire broke out shortly after 1 a.m. Reinitz says he was woken up by the smell of something burning and quickly realized there were smoke and flames coming from a closet in his apartment.

I hope this man gets another home and help soon.  I had an apartment that was real close to the apartment building that was on fire. Even though it wasn't my apartment it could have been and I remember how the people who lost their home and possessions needed help.
