Bad news for soccer fans, it appears that Gol TV has decided to cease operations effective August 31st 2015. According to the CRTC's website at to their website at http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/2015/2015-299.htm (http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/2015/2015-299.htm), they have already advised them that they would be surrendering their broadcasting license shortly after that date.
I believe that losing La Liga carriage rights to beIN Sports was too much for them and they were never able to recover from it.
