Winnipeg’s MTS Centre to add premium seats, high definition scoreboard

True North is spending $12 million to install 278 new premium seats, plus bigger and better video screens on the scoreboard at the MTS Centre.

Well an arena upgrade was one of the conditions the NHL had for the Thrashers moving to Winnipeg in the first place. I'm surprised it has taken this long. The High Definition scoreboard is going to be the only thing that really matters to the regular fan, and I must say that when the Capitals added one to the Verizon center it was an amazing improvement over the old one.
