The chief executive of cricket's governing body believes it will be tough for anyone outside the game to fix matches during next month's 50-over World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

David Richardson also said on Tuesday that the International Cricket Council (ICC) would clamp down hard on bad behaviour in the tournament by the players.

Maybe if you took out all the players and the umpires and replaced them with Rabbits could you have a cricket tournament that wasn't corrupt. MAYBE. Even then I would expect there so be a bit of backroom deals involving lettuce and carrots. Cricket is probably the worst sport in the world for corruption, easily more corrupt than anything played in the Americas and possibly only rivaled by Soccer. I can't even place odds at this tournament being free of corruption as its a near certainty.
